Twice Brewed to Abbey Bridge
Definitely further than the 14 miles quoted! The lady at abbey bridge said she walked it recently and it was 15.6 miles. Some shots along the way for you. Weather was perfect for walking.

Segedunum roman fort
Got our passports at Wallsend ready for the walk with its first stamp!
view of the fort from the viewing tower. Saw an excellent reconstructed time lapse video showing this how this site changed from roman times to the present day. we would have filmed it if the place hadn't been overrun with school kids😛
